Powerful psychic Quent Fielding and deadly archer Zoë Kapoor, passionate partners but wary allies, pursue their quests for revenge to satisfactory but sometimes unexpected ends in "Abandon the Night", a well-written, engrossing tale that provides a dark yet hope-laced alternative view of the future. VERDICT Sexy, violent, and electrifying, these two stories, while complete in themselves, further Ware's edgy, page-turning series beautifully; brilliantly conceived and executed. Ware lives in Michigan.
